The demonstrations and documentaries may have limited capacity. Participation is based on first come first serve. Additional attendees may be admitted as space opens up.

11:00 am - 11:45 pm - The Japanese Tea Ceremony (Demonstration)

Members of the Chado Urasenke Tankokai “would like to demonstrate the Japanese traditional ‘Way of tea’, Chado.” They also would like to have the audience think on the connection between a bowl of tea and peace.

12:00 - 12:45 pm - The Korean Tea Ceremony (Demonstration)

Greg Demmons, Korean tea meditation instructor with Cho Inmok, will discuss his experience with tea in Korea, introducing the audience to the heart of Korean tea and its ceremonies, focusing on his specialty, the meditation ceremony. He will then demonstrate the Korean Tea Ceremony.
